Greetings!

We are almost done with the Halloween series! As I announced a few days ago here, I’m working on a series of Halloween-themed illustrations which mix my series of works (Menmar, Aylie, La Miseràble, Oneiropolos/ ChimiChronicles) making tributes to Black Buffalo Publishing‘s comic book series as well!

Since Aylie, Oneiropolos and ChimiChronicles were originally commissioned projects, I’ll have to overhaul a few aspects and concepts so that I can reuse said characters. Therefore, Oneiropolos and ChimiChronicles’ narratives will be merged in an upcoming story called Manzikert, which will also be part of Menmar’s main universe and timeline. Chimi won’t make an appearance at Manzikert, at least not in their current form. I’ll be studying this in the following months.

Now, back to business – Búfalo (Portuguese for Buffalo), the comic book series to which I’m making this tribute – digress the life of a hardened, streetwise Brazilian police officer whose powers and appearance mimics those of a water buffalo. Created by Mario Sergio (also known as Inovart Comics), its first edition will soon hit social media and printing press, along with hitting the shelves of Black Buffalo Publishing!
