Greetings!

Spooky season is on, and my current publisher – Black Buffalo Publishing – issued a fun challenge to us members of staff: create Halloween-themed illustrations to hype up the brand and its current and older stories, hailing the days in which the publisher also functioned as a free-to-post platform and store-content hybrid!

Therefore, I decided to do a miniseries of illustrations featuring my current projects (Menmar, Aylie, La Miseràble, Oneiropolos/ ChimiChronicles) dressed up as the superheroes featured in Black Buffalo Publishing’s catalogue!

Starting with my beloved Menmar, I cast both Raheem and Nadhine as the characters Omega and Voltage, from Kaiky Vidal (kai_arts2005)’s Voltage series, which unfolds the journey of the namesake, technophilic heroine as she tracks down other heroes and learns more about her electric abilities!

This art piece will be part of an ongoing series throughout this week, and Voltage series can be read (partially) on Kaiky’s social media. He is also the author of the upcoming series called Realms!
