Greetings!

Since I finished A Court of Dreams‘ production, I realized other characters needed proper attention and introduction. Therefore, I decided to do a few posts about the supporting cast featured in Aylie Anthology’s “A Court of Dreams”!

I already did this post about Aylie’s father, Declan, so it’s time to properly introduce her mother, Namoura of Candia! This post follows a similar pattern to those of La Miseràble’s Backstage!

Profile Overview

Namoura is a Dream Sugar Fairy, hailing from the lands of Candia, a division of the Dream Realm which draws power from the Slumbering Races’ childrens’ and offsprings’ dreams. She was born from the Sugar Atelie’s ovens by Areekah, a skilled Delight Sweet Dream cook and jewelcrafter. When she became old enough by Candian Dreams, Namoura was taken to the Sugar Plum Queen‘s court, where she enrolled to become an apprentice poet and singer.

Namoura met Declan Figtree and the Royal Dream Family of Feyrist when she was sent there with a diplomatic caravan. She stayed in Feyrist long enough to become acquinted with Princess (soon to be Queen) Maelyrra and she was also pivotal in the discovery of the coup d’etát plot devised by King Aidan’s rivals, and she had the choice to either report it to Candia’s Harems (their equivalent of Noble Houses) or stay silent.

She took Declan as her Consort after he came back of his last deployment as a soldier. Namoura decided to stay on Feyrist and became a cook, wife to Declan and mother to Aylie.
