Greetings!

Today is National Comic Book day in Brazil, or Brazilian Comic Book Day, if you prefer! Today, I celebrate being a comic book artist, with all its ups and downs, along with all projects I have done so far. Our life as artists isn’t easy, but it’s quite rewarding!

Creating, reading and supporting independent comic book artists is uplifting and rewarding, mainly because we are all banded together in the hopes of fulfilling the dream of living off our own creations!

The Brazilian comic book scenario is changing, and thankfully it has begun embracing all art styles and narratives, which gives opportunities and grounds for upcoming artists to show what they are made of. And someday, I hope, I’ll be recognized among the influential ones in the scene.
