Greetings!
This year, Menmar completes 5 years since I first published it! Since then, I have posted a few chapters online and left the series on a hiatus due to my other real-life job as an assistant pastry cook and due to Brigadier Bits’ production, which was faster and easier to work on.
However, I left the field due to my studies in Brazil to become a public servant, and now I find myself being able to reconcile my studies and my artistic productions. Also, considering that there’s plenty to know on Menmar, I’ll use the traditional Monthly images to relay a few fun facts about this universe I love so much!

The Month of Subjazat
The Month of Subjazat equals to January in our real-life calendar. However, it is the first month of Spring on Roshan rather than real-life Winter (North Hemisphere) or Summer (South Hemisphere).
Being the first month of Spring (at least it is considered to be so in Azoria), it is time for harvest, especially of smaller and more fragile fruits, such as berries, plums, dates and apricots, and even some vegetables such as beans and roots.
The herds on Azoria are set free from their barns and sheds, and so the grazing season begins. Since Azoria is set on mainly drylands and deserts, usually the livestock is herded towards oasis and rivers for greener and more vibrant pastures.
Azorians consider the Month of Subjazat a month of reflection, and more often than not they use its whole 30 days to reflect upon the winter and the months past, plan the next crop seeding and even accept new challenges upon its end.
