Every cause has a matching consequence. In Menmar, every single inhabitant is somehow affected by the open conflict, regardless of social standing. Esther and her husband Yami are civilians who belong to Nadhine’s closest social circle, and they often see themselves tangled in the webs of conflict woven by Nadhine’s approaches — and, too often, they feel more involved than they would wish for.
